Given they have just raised a few million, and given that covid has not hit Africa as hard as was expected, then I guess there is an expectation that they will be back on the ground sooner rather than later. When they do, it will be to drill their most advanced project, that will almost certainly produce good intersections (if they are sensible and drill in the right place) and with the gold price going mental, I guess there is anticipation of news flow.

So I suppose its just a few people or brokers positioning themselves. Of course its all still highly speculative, and the sorts of people who buy in in anticipation of news flow will also sell out the moment that news flow happens - but thats the game I guess.
