Also the latest PCL presentation suggests that Sunbird was sufficiently successful for commercial wells to go ahead, even though Sunbird itself is not considered commercial.
Well, that really does not make sense to me, as Sunbird was never meant to be or planned to be a commercial well, so "not commercial" is just a play on words then.
I can only conclude that Sunbird is a success and has achieved what it was set out to do (to enable commercial wells to go ahead); and this talk about "still analysing data" is a beat up story so BG, maybe PCL, can have an edge in commercial negotiations.
Add this to my list of coincidences!
