You ask why? Do I assume you are asking why I said I was guessing we would see some news by next Monday?

if that was indeed your question, then here is the answer.

In their last update, they said "The above timetable is indicative only, and may be subject to variation. Any material changes will be notified to ASX by CEO".

Putting it simply, next Monday is the 24th. They gave a guideline of mid October. The 24th is well past that. If there is no announcement regarding the acquisition on Monday, there should be an announcement advising of a material change to the process. If neither is forthcoming I will be on the phone to CEO myself to find out why.
