    The big players have been looking at alternative substitutions for years, they keep coming back to cobalt due to the higher specific energy density which leads to longer battery life/ run time. Substitutes can't hold a flame to Cobalt at the moment. But the big risk is in the Tech world, this can all change in an instant.
