Thanks for that, I suspect things have changed quite substantially, I got my reply from Security Transfer Australia. They said.
A Top Report is not required to be provided to shareholders upon request. According to the Corporations Act a shareholder is able to come view the register of members at our office free of charge or alternatively a copy can be provided to at the prescribed rate of $250.
I live in Brisbane and there is no office here for me to visit, I have attached addresses for the offices in other states for anyone that may have the inclination to obtain this information for all of us here on HC.
I will pursue this information elsewhere in the meantime.
Effectively, with the top 50 share holders being known, we can deduct Management and Institutions by name from the registry information, the balance is likely Retail.
