They're playing the good old 'we're putting on a serious face and pretending we knew nothing about it- we're blaming the supplier but at the same time selling the story that they are fixing things'.
They'll keep buying DNC cobalt until totally shamed into stopping.

That article shows that pressure is mounting so there will be increased investor interest in ethical cobalt sourcing so if on other platforms- I'd keep mentioning it to hopefully do our little bit to increase the pressure on companies such as Apple.

We can remember that Elon Musk noted battery materials actually contribute very little to unit cost, most important is the actual manufacturing process.
