Yes I would have thought that they had an option to start paying monthly instalments of tax from last February that would have enabled them to fully frank the dividend but they have obviously chosen to wait until they lodge their 2022 tax return(to Dec31) probably about June next year before they pay the tax - that's disappointing.
I was expecting a higher dividend - I think a 22% payout of NPAT is a bit ordinary.
The level of Trade Receivables US$558.6mil is huge - I wonder how much of that is owed by X-Coal in the US - I see no details of that in the 10-Q Form - I'll be comparing with Aust Thermal coal producers when their figures are available.
Attached schedule updates today's figures - the shock for me was the increase in the mining costs figure in the US of $148.9mil compared with $115.3mil in the previous quarter - sorry but don't understand it.
