Whatever the ex price date is, this thing is destined to be stuck on 18c forever. I find it very hard to believe that ELL has been in the same narrow trading range around 18c for about seven months. It can announce the world's largest nickel deposit at curran's dam and it'll still be 18c.
I bet you any money that after the ex dividend date, the stock will still be at 18c. It should in theory drop to around 12c after ex dividend date but the market will be too stupid to work this out. Maybe we should take advantage of this and buy all we can at these levels before ex dividend date. The next few weeks should be very interesting.
