a company is still a company - and if not going to trade on a market then at some stage the co goes broke or gets a buyout offer. better owning shares than not, and worst case is the shares stolen by JK are cancelled, meaning everyone else gets a higher % of the co.
This was a disaster waiting to happen and still cannot believe so many punters stayed in when the red flags were waving so furiously..
