Traditional blocklaying currently has the advantage that the slab doesn't have to be perfectly level because mortar can be used to get the first course of blocks level. FBR has to spend a bit more to get a well-levelled slab. This laser screeding could be the great equaliser if it means there will be no cost difference between slabs prepared for blocks and mortar versus slabs prepared for blocks and adhesive.
