Its like comparing chalk and cheese. ARR has a sold state semi conductor laser chip, which is a "light source" SYN has a new "light engine". SYN can use ARR light source or any other light source with their technology.Their is no comparison with the two tech's. SYN's wins hands down. ARR is incorporating their chip (or was?) who knows? with the standard LCD TV's available at present. ie. remove the globes behind the liquid crystal display and replace with laser light source. A small benefit. Not as good as a new light engine. ie... LCD, DLP are light engine's.
The photonic display SYN has is a new form of this "light engine" - NOT a "LIGHT SOURCE". Next step and next level, NO comparison to date...
