Also, we should keep in mind that its not all about the Necsel laser sources. The laser sources form half of the light engine (Arasor bought Necsel to double revenue stream). The other half is the Lithium Niobate chips - which were always Arasor products. It is my understanding that these are used to modulate/switch the light sources in some way and frequency doubling to convert red laser into green. The ability to source small green laser in volume is key to the likes of Microvision.
I am not sure if the Lithium Niobate part was included in the spin off.
Laser tv is a good start (rear projection), but personally i think front projection will do alot more business. This will include projectors and digital cinema.
The Laser TV has alot of upcoming competition with OLED i think.
