I think vanadium is in the start of a goldilocks zone, now because of the increase in quality steel demand and in the future due to what I perceive are strong political and social forces pushing towards cleaner energy systems within which grid storage will play a pivotal role. Changing energy infrastructure is a long term game, I'd say the SP indicates the market is duly aware of this. Ironically lower V2O5 prices should lead to faster uptake of VRBs.
AVL delivering on their current focus of lowering their cost/lb in the current testwork is crucial to being able to operate at a price that is sustainable to AVL without prohibiting VRBs.
