Intel, HPE to build IoT lab in Singapore
HP Enterprise and Intel will build three IoT discovery labs, including one in Singapore.
The two vendors have created an alliance where they will bring “open standards based IoT solutions” to market, and establish the labs as places that customers can come and experiment with and test applications of IoT.
The Asia Pacific region lab is based in Singapore. Other labs are to be built in the United States and France.
"The alignment of Intel and Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the latest example of a growing IoT ecosystem forming to fulfill the IoT promise," Intel’s Internet of Things group senior vice president Doug Davis said.
"Together, we are delivering new IoT solutions to customers, as well as providing the opportunity to test IoT applications in the IoT discovery labs, enabling lower integration risks and accelerated time-to-value."
