Happy for anyone to correct me but there was a window in which to purchase the additional 13% share of IDSB after they were granted it’s renewed license to service Gov employees with debt. It was allowed to close and hey presto the owner wants his 21% back at a 40% discount.
The whole thing has been a terrible disaster but could have been much worse if the new BOD hadn’t got stuck in to right the ship. Unfortunately that meant dealing with one fire at a time and a gradual recovery.
also strange that some investors made a killing in past few months right before last CR and then Chairman was pushed out, I wonder if this gave rise to recent big sells of investors who had internal links to the company and BOD.
Nevertheless OVT does have some good opportunities in front of it with a well performing business in Isentric and to take its BNPL IP to a growing and far better regulated market in the US.
So for the sake of getting some kind of return here.. Go OVT.
