Hi mate, a few posters are focusing on an offer price. There is no such thing.
What is offered is a percentage ownership of a merged entity. The $4.25 was a worked example of what the percentage would mean on a particular date at the respective share prices pertaining to that date's closing SPs.
STOs share price has fallen since the initial merger offer was made. The $4.25 figure was already out of date when the merger offer was announced.
We understand that OSH could be worth far more than at present once covid is behind us. That must be true for STO as well. The merger offers the chance to enjoy, pro rata, improved values of both entities going forward with hopefully some additional synergies and scale.
So, I am not too worried about the respective share prices at present and what that might mean as a 'price' for OSH. But if OSH can score a bigger piece of the cake for us that would be good, thank you.
