It always interests me when a share crashes on 'no news'. What I dont understand is how ASX and ASIC let this happen? The production report is out at end of month. If it is any different to forecasts then I will send ASIC a simple letter asking them to investigate.
However, my opinion is this: somebody has to, wants to dump. And it is on no inside news. I have been checking the GDXJ holdings. It (so far) is not them.
Anyway, I bought some today at 1.06. I dont like this company at all. But I have always made a bit of money (mostly by sheer luck). If it shoots up I sell. If it crashes, I buy. But I dont like the company. It is too strange. And too obscure in info given out. They get an assay with visible gold and say 'we cant be bothered measuring it'. They buy up a mining company because of how good it will be. Then later they say 'oh, we did it, and lost 23 mill in the process, to derisk our Company. A big story change.
Anyway, anyway as long as no illegal news out that we dont know about, it is quite the bargain. And directors do buy in more from time to time.
What an unprecedented dump on no news and rising gold price. Very odd.
