Investors have limited options for investing in agricultural projects. The Australian Taxation Office is expected to win a test case that will result inthe banning of non-forestry managed investment schemes. The tax-effective schemes allow investors to claim 100 per cent of the investment as a taxdeduction. Great Southern offered a wine grape project that was oversubscribed. It is also offering an olive and an almond project. A Queensland-based cattlescheme is also being marketed
