It's important to understand that for every sold share today there has been a buyer. The question one should be asking rationally is;

Is it more likely that with the volume bought that retail (including some mums and dads) have been buying and the insto's selling (or vice versa)?

I would guess that on the back of todays volume that the retail and mums and dads would be unlikely to be able to stump up the cash required. Especially as all believers in LYC probably already hold close to their quota.

Based on the question posed, I would think that the smart money has run a shakeout and everyone who has sold has been fleeced. I don't mind going against the market which is why I bought some more today.
