newcomp......becoming old is what we all will endure, yet becoming worthless is another thing altogether. i have known impoverished old men & women whose spirit shines so blight that it puts us westerns to shame.
dark hours in a persons life are simply tools with which to discover aspects of self (if you so choose, although the choose lays at the edges of ones suffering). whilst we may identify with the self that suffers (& crying washes the soul of our mental fatique), we also have momentary glimpses of our true self witnessing, & separate from, the suffering.
i know the light in you will shine bright.
