“I've been busy as all buggers over here,”
Hi walk. Let me share with you one of the great Australian expressions for being busy. I have had cause to use it myself a couple of times in the past week since my wife fell over and managed to break her wrist.
It goes something like: I’m as busy as a one-armed paper hanger.
Fortunately, she will eventually return to her usual activities. In the meantime, I am practicing many long lost skills and learning some new ones. Finding time to read the FAR board with a glass of red is some compensation.
