Acceleration Trigger Date means that date, at any time after 30 days after the issue date of the Options, that the closing price of the Shares on ASX is higher than A$0.78 for any 20 consecutive ASX Business Day period, then on the 20th consecutive ASX Business Day of any such period.

So my fears appear valid for those who don't intend to exercise the options. Once they announce the new expiry date the time value of the options will disappear suddenly.

Roughly assuming the current time value of 10c and the stock price at 80c sometime soon.
The options price could drop from 40c to 30c after the announcement.
