@Hayduke; with fewer than 600,000 people the additional cost of that proposed AFL stadium and its subsequent operation / maintenance is a fair old additional burden on taxpayers.
IMO the AFL should be funding the new stadium instead of leaning and loafing on Tasmanian and on Australian taxpayers.
