The Stockbroker(s) would have called you and sent you Research or other info because they were raising money for the Private Placement etc, and you were on their database or a client. There is nothing “sus” about that because that is what Broking firms do. I get offers all the time (sometimes I take up those offers). I think it is a bit rough to say there is something “sus” about the stock based on a Stockbroking firm making you an offer and/or sending Research.
People have been getting set in the stock. The Options have until March 17, and deals are being done. These things take time and I agree that this is at least a 6 to 9 month investment for this point in time.
Anyway, it is a good thing that it is being promoted.
