The last of the Marawi ISIS Insurgency leaders Omar Maute and Isnilon Hapilon have been killed.

This follows the death a few weeks ago of the other Maute brothers. Omar was the last of the Maute terrorist brothers to die. Isnilon was the ISIS 'emir' of SE Asia, and is now also dead.

For all intents and purposes, the Maute Group is finished and the Marawi ISIS insurgency is smashed.

Most of the hostages have been rescued or managed to escape. There's less than 30 ISIS fighters left, and they would probably have surrendered by Tuesday morning.

Having said that though, I don't think this will have any effect on MML stock price. Nothing moves this stock.
