Thanks debdeb. I can't see the ethane being sourced from elswhere unless the supply from Moomba looks like ending. A new pipeline would be an enormous expense and ethane being very light is not easily liquified. A new ethane processing plant would also be required. Moomba still has significant reserves of gas: at an absolute minimum 12 years supply (at current useage), but probably much more.
