I substantially agree with what you're saying. However I am a LT investor in LYC (albeit an increasingly nervous one) with little knowledge of the markets. I therefore get confused when you say "You are not helping the company by holding on to your shares in those circumstances. You are simply impoverishing yourself and your family" when many posters who I have confidence in say that one should hang on, don't sell now, it's only tree shaking, don't let them get their hands on your shares etc etc.
My investment in LYC is now in the Red (bought in at 44c and more at $1.57) so doesn't it make sense to live the dream and hang in.
