Why would he be rushing it? Signing a hoa for example doesn't mean it's a done deal. The process to finalise the acquisition will not happen this year that's for sure. The day it's finalised doesn't matter, it's what he signed.

Also vtx finalises it's acquisition at the end of December so the Christmas period means little imo.
