Day 3 traders I think are playing this stock. Far too many shares being traded compared to what is available.
Some might get caught if a TH is called and they can not settle.... As you know some might buy more than they have cash for. It has been an easy trade over the last few weeks.
Due to the long delay in signing a deal has caused high expectation. Speculation on what it will be is also creating too much hype.
No trading halt is needed. Just announce it and surprise the market.
