In the middle of last summer I talk a walk through the centre of the Melbourne Cemetary during the day.Most of the graves are over 100 years old and are of the old type which are surrounded with small rusted metal picket fences.The day I went was rather warm but what surprised me was the very large gum trees and the peace and quiet.For a while I felt like I was way out in the bush.And like your experience others thought I was not quite right in the head.To be quite honest I am sure the people who are laid to rest probably appreciate a visitor once in a while.lol.
