The sad thing about Toowong Cemetary is the amount of mindless vandalism that has occurred there over the years. It's the largest cemetary in Queensland, I believe and much desecration has happened. Gravestones kicked over; plots trampled on; marble sculptures shattered into pieces, etc etc. Terrible stuff.
Some years ago, much publicity surrounding late night Satanic rituals allegedly occurring there was sighted. Police patrols in the area were greatly stepped up. In fact, this is the most dangerous part of visiting a cemetary late at night - the possibility exists of running into a bunch of genuine weirdos holding their rituals, proffering their lives to Satan or whatever.
In a nutshell - it's not the dead folks in a cemetary who present the greatest risk - but the live ones.
