Ring them and tell them that you will be willing to pay the daily late settlement fee ($54.00 per day). They won't take any gains out of the settlement other than the amount they are entitled too (cost of stock + brokerage + days * daily late settlement fee)

I doubt ComSec will try and sell at open once the stock has come out of the halt if you inform them first, though in their terms and conditions they are legally allowed to sell them to cover their costs.
