Ive had 2 rejection settlements so far, 1 via text and via phone. I got a phone call prior to me telling them my mobile.
There was once a time i needed to tansfer 9k, problem was my main bank would only transfer 5k per day via net banking. As settlement was the following day i knew i wouldn't have the full 9k in the combank so i rang them and told them the story.
They told me i would get charged the $54 late fee as its an automative transaction but would refund the $54 the following day as i told them why the full amount wasn't going to be there until the follwoing day after the nominated settlement day.
So if you plead your case you might get it refunded or you might not. No harm in trying.
