Adelaide is similar to Perth in many ways, both fairly well set out cities, streets pretty much north south, east west.
Id stick clear of the very low demographoic areas personally and concentrate on the middle class family type suburbs within 10km of city.
Either close to beach, or transpost,tram,train,schools and shopping, all the usual things u would look for.

More oldies per capita than any other state, as the oldies sell you need to be there ready to swoop.
they have large houses, large blocks....well worth considering, just keep sending them cookies once a month and they will knock on the door ready to sell one day ..lol.
