Laterite processing

Could someone kindly explain how laterite ore is processed?

I looked up it on wiki, and I can understand the leaching part, which is essential treating laterite with acid to solve the metal content in laterite ore, thus the term"leaching". This produces a solvent containing the metal and is later neutralised with limestone to produce nickel/cobalt intermediate, which goes into smelters for further refining. Is this smelter facility actually on-site of a mine or it's somewhere else?

so what are the typical products made at a nickel/cobalt mine?

It is nickel/cobalt sulphate or concentrated ore with nickel/cobalt mixed together?

I saw some nickel/cobalt crystals in AUZ's presentation. Is that what we are selling in the end?
