I already checked it out. Looks like they did short the shares. As you have pointed out, it probably is a good sign that shorts dont need the shares anymore. I note that the total shorts around 1 March was roughly 1.5% of issued capital. So even when they did short, they only shorted less than a third of their total holding - that is assuming that all the shorts in the market was from them. In reality, its likely that they kept more than 90% of their holding.
All of this probably doesnt tell us anything useful though. Right now its all about whether this Harbour proposal will go through or not
