You must look at the complete picture re Syama. It is an enormous asset that is only now revealing its potential. Start up costs and optimisation of plant are always going to negatively impact on costs (Remember this quarters costs include the planned April shutdown).
We are witnessing a very well executed corporate strategy to optimise Resolute's market potential: debt reduction, hedge book closed out, cost optimisation, massive reserves, ramped up exploration, clever joint ventures.
