Assuming we are talking about these 2 farms the main thing I was interested to get to the bottom of was why now? I think the fact that the licences run out in Feb next year answers that question to some extent.

But effectively (again running with the assumption that the option issue is related to the 2 farms), Nkwe have paid $3m for the exclusive option to negotiated their purchase (assuming options are worth 30c on market). Now what is standard for these sort of payments? Lets say 10% of the estimated value. That would make the farms worth about $30m.

I agree with the sentiment that they won't need to pay much but given the options issued (if this is what they are for) I'd appreciate what you both think 'not much' actually is.
