by definition the Calonda ore should have higher values than the laterites. My interepreation of the results for BLK7 is that we have two sources of kimberlitic ore. There is the source for the Calonda ore which has to be within 3.5 km of the source kimberlite (after that it breaks down to the laterite with lower grade ore).
Regarding the laterites, they will be able trace the laterite ore upto calonda ore i.e. calonda ore before it gets eroded to form laterite ore to the source kimberlite. It looks like the source kimberlite for this laterite ore is better than the source kimberlite for the localised calonda ore, but this remains to be confirmed.
