Burgess Mining (ASX:MTB) has received the latest assay results from
drilling at Kihabe base metals project, Botswana.
Results include KRC 025, testing to 50 metres:
Zinc - 3m at 1.45 per cent, 2m at 3.37pc and 10m at 3.06pc;
Lead - 2m at 1.64pc, 2m at 3.56pc;
Silver - 1m at 45.8 grams per tonne;
Vanadium - 2m at 545 parts per million, 1m at 490 ppm.
KRC 026, testing to 50m:
Zinc - 14m at 5.39pc, including 6m at 10.38pc, 2m at 2.19pc, 1m
at 3.09pc;
Vanadium - 3m at 343 ppm, 1m at 378 ppm;
KRC 027, testing to 100m:
Zinc - 6m at 1.48pc, 6m at 1.92pc;
Lead - 1m at 1.40pc;
Silver - 2m at 21.75 g/t.
KRC 028, testing to 150m:
Zinc - 2m at 1.85pc, 21m at 3.25pc including 10m at 4.46pc, 5m at
1.59pc, 8m at 2.09pc;
Lead - 2m at 3.44pc, 4m at 1.64pc, 3m at 1.28pc, 3m at 1.08pc;
Silver - 9m at 15.8 g/t;
Copper - 3m at 0.06pc, 6m at 0.06pc, 1m at 0.08pc.
The company is expecting the return of further assay results from
completed holes KRC 023 to KRC 024 and KRC 028 to KRC 032 which have been
submitted for assaying.
The above results are part of an infill drilling program
currently being conducted with the intention of upgrading this 2.4
kilometre long zone of mineralisation to an open pittable JORC compliant
resource/reserve down to a vertical depth of 150m.
