Apparently bin laden has 20 or so look alikes to - so its not unheard of and i guess from thier perspective even with satelites it makes the US harder to kill them from space or the air - and makes a sacrifical lamb if they are involved in a terror activity and can manage to throw a decoy follower to live another day.
Lets hope the saudis do a good job at taking out any saudi based al quadea leadership targets as the more cell leaders, financeirs and co ordination and skill specialists that can be taken out it weakens the overall ability of these terror cells to mount attacks.
Although changing tactics to kidnap, assaination and beheading is aimed squaerly at taking out foreign skills out of saudi arabia and weakening the oil based economy. It seems to have shifted now to an economic war against he west via their terror activities.
Bioterror could be next as a wild guess, human suicide bio infected strikes have been muted in some media articles, more kidnappings, assaination of well known western identities = ie the threats that were made against madonna etc any famous person could be targetted.
Something for intelligence agencies to tackle next.
It seems though most of the run of the mill terrorists have headed for one place for the final battle - iraq where the US has its biggest presence. At least with the attention there the ability to attack western targets is dimished
A side note though the madrid bombings were exactly 911 days since 9/11 - which is a very big significant factor that is hardly mentioned.
