the XGD has broken out of a bull flag and backtested.. we will go up soon enough..
what id like to see is the DXY fall.. to see the AUD break the approx decade longr downtrend against USD so foriegn moneyflows come back our way.. we have a lot of tailwinds that can drive us higher and while gold is having a small breather i dont think it has finished this run
in the short term as long as the DXY keeps rising the corrections in gold price are shallow because everyone is anticipating the DXY to at some point turn the other direction and turn into a gold tailwind.. it seems a similar pattern to the second half of the GFC where gold and DXY rose together and then DXY went down and gold kept running
