Apart from the excellent progress regarding native title agreements, there are some other interesting points in the BRR interview (between quote marks are WRs words):

1. "...in the point of awarding stage 2 to the preferred engineer and that work and finalization of that contract is in place".
and
".....arrival on Tuesday of Brenden Heinz the new Project manager for stage 1.....".

My comments:
a) Good to hear that BRM is putting a lot of effort into both stages 1 and 2.
b) It sounds like the plan for stage 2 is quite well advanced.

2. "....allowing Paul Bartlett to focus on the award of stage 2 and work with the alliance on the burse AND SOME OF THE RAIL DESIGN ISSUES WE'RE WORKING WITH....".

My Comments:
a) What does he mean by the "burse"?
b) It sounds to me like the alliance might be working on designing its' own rail. Am I interpreting this correctly?

3. "....Continuing negotiations for rail and port access and talking with the port around the inner and outer harbour development plans....."

My Comment: Sounds like port negotiations are continuing beyond the 2 berths in the inner harbour that the alliance has already been granted.

Overall, WR is definitely giving the impression that the project is continuing well on all fronts.
