Well said Lost, you’ve been a beacon of common sense and concrete information here since the start. I’m in the fortunate position where I’m only in it for the divvies, just like Rajiv himself so share price can do whatever idgaf. Re the share price though, it has been an interesting learning curve looking at the power of “market sentiment”, because as far as I can see the basic proposition is unchanged, it was just straight after the IPO Magellan, fund management in general vs etf’s, then Russia etc etc and all that’s changed is one good year showing what a global stock picker can do vs the index and suddenly “the market” is back on board. No doubt this too shall pass.
