Have always focused on the GQG business and it has been an incredible learning experience for myself. The way the portfolios move in and out of positions has been consistent since 2016. It is exceptional. Demonstrating this to the wife helps significantly in holding losses and averaging down from IPO investment
The Adani investment has been the only move to acquire an undervalued asset after a dramatic drop and GQG has been rewarded for the brave call.
It demonstrates that Rajiv has a clear quantitive strategy on how to select winners and discard over valued investments to rebalance portfolio. This protects the fund performance and investors in the business and GQG’s funds.
