sto know what they have next door at crown. there would be little doubt that these 2 fields are connected and would be seeking a stake to deal itself into the game ( eventually all browse players will need to share - look at csg in qld - after a few years of building their own, they are starting to share) sto wants some leverage i would imagine - eg include crown in the pipe to darwin ( which they also have a 10% or so stake in ). entry into this jv would give them access to all exploration data , which would be of use for crown ( could save a couple of wells , which would be worth a few $ )

org and cop run aplng togther, so no surprise that org would be interested in another jv.
