Total 1.5M cts sold = $44,3M
(Assuming their inventory from secondary deposit grows around 100,000 cts per 6mths as u can see from the auction results...
100,000 cts of higher & medium quality rubies = secondary deposit,
and the rest of 1.4M cts= primary deposit × $4/carat= $5.6M
Now total of $44,3M - $5.6M = $38.7M
So value of secondary deposit rubies for June'16 auction = $387/carat ( similar to Dec'15 result for higher & medium quality rubies=secondary deposit)
MUS is mining rubies from secondary deposits only = significantly higher values ($300+ /carat)
I believe Oct auction will bring us $30M+ cash (+special stones)
Ask @Hardrock25 why secondary deposit rubies are gem quality if u haven't studied yet properly
All you need to know is
Secondary deposit = gem quality rubies =lower volumes/ significatly higher values
