Joe has his doubts, thats very interesting and the doubts are based on what? Well he didnt say so how can anyone say more than this industry expert and some guys he spoke to on the phone have some doubts.
The world is full of experts who had doubts, some times their correct and some time their not. Us lay people have to be guided by the evidence that the expert provides to support their conclusion but Im afraid that in this instance there is no supporting evidence.
If you remember my original example of the shopping centre. Well all the small shop keeper had decades of experience in retail and all were skeptical of the large shopping centre but in the end their arguments were driven by self interest and self interest alone and they closed up and got other jobs.
Joe could easily explain why he is skeptical may be its the altitude, or that the communists take over in November or the environmentalists wont let us desicrate the flamingo breeding grounds.
The lilac process worked at benchtop it worked at pilot plant level what apart from fraud could stop it working at demonstration plant level.
We will just have to wait and see.
Maybe you could write to Joe and say hey Joe great podcast but could you put some meat on the bones. That would be a useful thing to do.

It wasn't that long ago I remember the taxi industry slamming uber that will never work bla bla bla. Well it did and value of their plates plummeted and they had to choice but to adapt. I reckon Kodak would like to go back in time along with Noikia, Ericsson and blackberry just to name a few. Technology can change industries pretty quick and DLE could soon become a massive disrupter to spodumene and ponds. Signs are extremely positive.
