Gold is one of the hardest things to use TA on for some reason.
I know some are suggesting it has 1,000 on its mind like oil had 100 and won't stop till in getts to 999 probably.
Daily does have some room to move but weekly is really stretching it.
The ADEN sisters use 65 ma on weekly as I do for gold and everything else.
That green ma line has been beautiful since 2001 on a weekly close basis and is currently around $720.
I haven't looked at FIbs or any other metric and am not saying your numbers are without merit.
I am not trading gold at the moment as I had my share of woes back at the end of the last bull. There is probably much more to go but I fear the end will be just as bad.
