Middlemas on the phone to those others wheeling and dealing would be my guess. Ellerston could make life very difficult for him if they wished, so chances are he’s tried to build a bridge with some sort of nod or wink.
EQX shareholders probably beaten into submission - how they went along with that investment by him of their cash into SO4 (to prop us up) I cannot fathom. It was an outrageous conflict imo.
